Welcome to Custom House, our holiday home in the heart of the pretty fishing port of Looe, Cornwall UK. Located at Eastcliff, on the South West coastal path, this spacious house overlooks the sandy beach.
The house sleeps six, with three large bedrooms and three bathrooms. Each bedrooms can be configured as 6ft wide and 6ft 6in long Super King Double or two 3ft wide by 6ft 6in singles. The bed configuration this is selected after booking. Two bedrooms are en-suite, with a separate upstairs shower-room and toilet.
Arranged over two floors, there are two bedrooms on the ground floor, with the kitchen, lounge, toilet /shower room and master bedroom on the first floor .
Ideal for families, couples or a group of friends, we welcome up to two well-behaved dogs at a time. This is a no smoking or vaping house at the top of a steep hill, but the bonus is there is a balcony with a fantastic view over Looe.
Top Floor Layout
The large fully fitted kitchen has a dining table with seating for six, with dishwasher, microwave, and double oven with convection hob. Washing up is a pleasure, overlooking the town and beach.
Custom House has fast Wi Fi, a large smart TV in the lounge with comfy leather sofas . The lounge faces south, with doors onto the balcony with sun loungers and outside table.
The snug leads off the lounge and with two wicker planter-style chairs makes an ideal area for reading, chatting or playing cards.
The slated courtyard terrace has seating for eight for outside dining, a BBQ and an outside shower/hose for cleaning sandy feet and a box for keeping dirty shoes and beach toys outside.

Custom House is ideal for families, couples or a group of friends as the beds can be arranged double or singles as requested.
During peak times, the changeover is Saturday for week long bookings.
At other times the booking is flexible, with three night stays being the most popular. The booking site shows which days are free and the minimum booking period.
Dogs are welcome by arrangement - with coast path walks and the barbican a big attraction. There is a regular bus service to Polperro (or you can take a ferry) and its a half days walk back to Looe.
Custom House is on Eastcliff, the road that leads to the coastal path. It is the perfect holiday retreat just minutes from the beach and town centre. Located up the hill affords amazing views to Looe Island and Eddystone lighthouse. From the house a two minute walk along the South West Coastal path takes you to the rolling hills of the Wooldown and outstanding sea views from the town's Beacon. There is no disabled access and the hill is short but steep.
A very short walk from Custom House takes you to the centre of this bustling small port, with its many restaurants, cafes, pubs, two small supermarkets, chemist, as well as locally-caught fish shop, "Sarah's" famous pasty shop as well as clothes and toy shops, outdoor goods and chandlery. Looe offers everything you need for the perfect holiday, without the need to drive anywhere.
Take a stroll along the seafront, sit and enjoy watching the boats coming and going, or walk to neighbouring Polperro - there's so much to see and do here.
